We stayed in the best western Lofoten hotel which was centrally located at a place called leknes. The rooms were well equipped and there was wireless internet too. This hotel was close to the shopping center and was indeed a beautiful place to be in for a holiday. The people in Norway were warm n friendly. We got to taste traditional Norwegian food here.
We did some scuba diving n snorkeling. It was exciting to see the flora and fauna under water. It was an experience by itself. We also went on a nature safari by a passenger boat to explore and watch the incredible beauty of nature, the birds and the local wildlife. We were lucky to get a glimpse of the killer whale that looked extremely scary. Lofoten offers rock climbing facility and since the rocks are of great quality safety is ensured. The view from the mountains is spectacular and breathtaking.
The stock fish available here is a part of the culture and is often used in the base of many food dishes. The Lofoten islands is considered the best place to see the northern lights. We did some kayaking in the water inlets and had a great times. These islands really make you feel relaxed and calm.
This land of the midnight sun gave us many memories. The sites that we saw were unbelievable and we were quiet upset to leave this wonderful place. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an out of body experience. The wonderful sites and amazing people will entrance your mind and uplift your soul.
Choose Norway over the other destinations in the world to make the most of your little holiday!
