I signed for the ‘Learn the basic skills of aerobics’ recently and have been addicted to the classes since. The evening classes are a great way to unwind and relax before dinner time. My dance skills and grace has improved since I have signed up, even though I’m not a dancer. The classes are also a great way to keep fit and stay in shape.

Our first dancing lessons were always a total disaster!! It is sure to end in swollen ankles, painful muscles and many ‘twirl’ failures. But with the fortitude to learn and a fervent grit nothing is impossible. Likewise, even the most unexpected journey and the worst of all terrain is only to shape our skills in all way possible to equip us to the most memorable cruise of all.
Sang Har Noodles : No matter where we eat and how we eat noodles. Nothing stands against having to sit in a small Chinese restaurant with chopsticks in hand ready to jump into a freshwater sea flavored noodle bowl! This Sang Har Noodles (big head prawn noodles) is where the prawns’ head is well cooked and drowned in a juicy chilly mixture of sauce, eggs and crispy noodles. It tastes really good with iced fruit cubes.
The Bala's Holiday Chalet Tanah Rata Malaysia : Have a typical British holiday outlet in Malaysia with its warmth and class less minimized. This Edwardian ambiance is located on a lofty hill where the cottages are blessed with English, Indian and the rest of the Western cuisines mish- mashed with culture and trend. Why wait when a perfect family getaway is at the gates of Bala’s Holiday Chalet!
With sovereignty in mind, conviction in words, pride in my core & commemorations in my soul, I salute the nation and every proud inhabitant, A Very Happy Republic Day! On this exceptional day, lets promise each other that we will do everything to augment and preserve our inheritance, our spirit and our eternal ideals.
Hi friends! Jaspreet is back to share some more travel experiences. This time my husband had planned a special vacation. Since our anniversary was just round the corner he decided to take me for a vacation abroad. The place he selected was none other than the awesome Singapore. I always wanted to visit the place and click my pic in front of the Mer Lion. Hubby dearest took care of the Visa and air tickets. As for me I bought some new clothes and also packed a few tit- bits that I had made at home so that we can munch them in case there was a problem regarding the taste of food in foreign land. Marina Bay Sands : Iconic And Magnificent! We had a direct flight from New Delhi through Air India which was economical as compared to other airlines. So we first went to New Delhi from Ludhiana by train. We made sure we were at the Delhi Airport well in time. We had an early morning nonstop flight which reached Singapore in a little less than 6 hours. We had our booking at Marina Bay Sands which is located at the Bayfront MRT station. We hired a cab since it was a new place for us. Public transport like bus and trains are comparatively cheaper and very good. The hotel was iconic and magnificent. Our room was spacious and had modern dark wood furnishings, flat screen TV and a splendid view of the skyline of Singapore. We went around the hotel. It has 20 dining options and direct access to Singapore’s premier shopping mall. Marina Bay Sands also has the world renowned Banyan tree spa. The fine dining options here include Waku Ghin and Guy Savoy. It also has a dance club and 3 lounges. We took help of the travel desk and went around this beautiful country. My dream of clicking a snap in front of the Merlion was finally fun filled. The night safari and the Bird Park were also awesome. I did lots of shopping right from clothes to chocolates. Husband bought a new tablet. It was a fun filled week and one of the best anniversary. On our return journey we collected the miniature replicas of Merlion which adorns the side table in my house.
I have always been awe-struck with this renowned quotation by the famous French Author, Andre Gide. However, its true meaning was understood by me only after I began my travels. He said it very aptly that, in order to explore the new, the unknown, one truly has to leave the comfort and conformity of his own familiar origins.
Arabian Bay Resort Malaysia : Located in the vicinity of Sungai Pandan Waterfall, the Arabian Bay Resort offers air-conditioned rooms with minibars, private balconies, free self-parking & complimentary Wi-Fi services to its guests. What more? It allowed me to let my inner child loose, with its other dominant options - the safari, the water park, the outdoor pool & barbeque grills. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Kudos!
Spicy Laksa Noodle Soup : I recently had an opportunity to taste the Spicy Laksa Noodle Soup of the Peranakan cuisine. It is spicy Asian noodle soup made from coconut milk as its base and is very vibrant to taste with lemony notes. Meats like chicken and seafood like prawns and shrimps were added to enhance the taste.
So far it has been a wonderful year for me. I visited many new places; Goa tops my list. I was impressed by the rich culture, authentic cuisine and fun life. Professionally also it was a great year. On this happy note, I wish everyone a merry Christmas. Hope Santa fulfils all your dreams.
