I always feel like the mountains and water relaxes me. I always wanted to go a serene and quiet place and think about how beautiful nature is! As I was in Norway I didn’t want to miss the chance of visiting these beautiful mountains and greenery. Geirangerfjord is a long stretch of mountains and waterfalls which is thoroughly enjoyed by thousands of tourists every year. It was declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO.
I had heard about these 2 famous waterfalls which were the major tourist destinations in this beautiful stretch of scenery. They were the seven sisters and the suitor. These waterfalls dazzled me and are the most spectacular things I have ever seen in my life. These mountains and water bodies are the home of different kinds of flora and fauna. Me and my wife were mesmerized by the different kinds of colorful plants and trees and were astonished by its beauty and magnificence. These green plants gave freshness in the atmosphere which made our vacation more enjoyable.

I was a bird watcher when I was a kid. I used to love chasing birds and click photos and make an album of my accomplishments. That’s the main reason I visited this place. Geirangerfjord attracts various kinds of birds from all over the world. Due to its thick and dense forests, there are varieties of birds and animals which wander peacefully without any disturbance. I was thoroughly enjoying each and every moment in this serene greenery. As me and my wife were running away from summers and terrible heat of India, these mountains were a paradise for us!
I had come to know about this ferry ride to the nearest waterfalls and a few mountains. It is the best way of sightseeing as we can experience the beauty of these magnificent waterfalls. I hired a car ferry for me and my wife who took us on a round trip of seven sisters, suitor and Bridal Veil which are amazing in their own way. It also took us to different mountains and other famous tourist places.
I hadn’t experienced this much beauty in a long time especially when you are enjoying it with your loved one. I will definitely come back here as its gorgeousness is unmatchable.
