Being an island country, I had my plans cut out at Maldives. A place filled with beaches, I started off for my next exciting destination - Alimatha Island, Maldives. I was wonderstruck when I reached the place for the nature was incredibly beautiful and for sure, any honeymooners or vacationers would agree with me that it is the most beautiful place on the earth.
Alimatha is in Vaavu Atoll and sits on the eastern edge of Maldives roughly 4 degrees north of the equator. Alimatha Island is rich with lavish vegetation and enclosed by beautiful sites such as Dewana Kandu National Park. Getting to the Maldives isn’t difficult, I have booked direct flight from Delhi, so there was no need to change planes or have a long delay.
