I am a person who loves nature and I love being amidst natural surroundings and birds and animals. God has blessed us with beauty all around us and I think it is our job to enhance the beauty by appreciating God’s gifts. The Jurong Bird Park is popular in Singapore and we  booked our tickets through its website in advance. The price was 28 Singaporean dollars for adults and 18 dollars for kids.

The opening and closing hours of the bird park are 8.30 am and 6 pm, and we started from our hotel by 10 am and reached the place in 40 minutes approximately. The park is designed so smartly that visitors get every chance to interact and play with the birds, and at the same time the birds breathe and fly around happily in the accepted environment.

Just name a colour, and you will find that coloured bird here.  My husband and me felt lucky to see more than five thousand colourful and joyous birds here. The 20.2 hectare land is the habitat of 400 species and it is a land where one can meet these attractive creatures of Lord. Feeding them and talking to them in a speechless language was something extraordinary and cannot be explained in words.

There are suspended bridges all over the place from where you can get close to the birds and feed them by taking nectar cups in your hands. My eyes and ears were pleased to see such lovely birds and hear their sweet chirping every moment. It was a great ambience and feeling altogether! I request my parent readers through this blog to take their children to Singapore in the next summer vacation as it is a beautiful and enlightening practice for adults and kids.

We visited different areas of the bird parks such as the jungle jewels, penguin coast, flamingo lake, pelican cove, birdz of play, and several other places and interacted with the birds having utmost fun. I will never forget such a warm welcome by birds in their own land. I hope I come here again and relive the same fun moments.
